Heliconia is a Sydney Northern Beaches interior design studio working across new builds, renovations and boutique residential developments.

Co-founded in 2018 and today led by Director Renee Hawkins, Heliconia has always been about helping people create beautiful homes - but just as importantly, helping them navigate the process of getting there.

We know how exciting a renovation, new build or development can be, and how quickly it can become overwhelming. There are hundreds of decisions to make, budgets to manage and often many different people involved along the way.

Our role is to bring clarity to that process. Sometimes that starts with reviewing a floor plan before a client has even chosen a builder. Sometimes it’s designing an entire home. And sometimes it’s simply being there at the right moment to help make a decision and keep things moving.

We love beautiful design, but we also care about how a home functions, what things cost and whether the decisions being made now will still feel right years from now.

Above all, we want our clients to enjoy creating their homes. To feel informed, inspired and confident in the decisions they make - and to have the right team of people around them to help them navigate the journey.
